Geoff Ayres is Co-Founder and General Partner of O-DE Capital Partners ('OCP') and Former Business Development Executive of the Family office based in Hong Kong, responsible for business development and relationship management. Prior to joining the family office, Geoff was a founding member and Business Development Manager at INFORICH, the operator of "ChargeSPOT," Japan's largest mobile battery-sharing service, which went public on the Tokyo Stock Exchange's Growth Market in 2022. At INFORICH, Geoff was involved in market expansion, including raising 3M USD in funding.
At the Hong Kong-based family office, Geoff is involved in investment as a blockchain VC, focusing on early-stage investments in Web3/blockchain businesses. He also serves as a board member at a group company based in Nairobi from 2022. He utilizes his extensive network of entrepreneurs and investors to support various projects. Additionally, in 2020, he supported the fundraising of a security token exchange that obtained approval from the U.S. SEC, raising 30M USD, and supported their business expansion into Japan.
Additionally, he supported a new business called "B-OWND" by Tanseisha, a company listed on the Tokyo Stock Exchange First Section, including business strategy planning and team building.
In August 2020, Geoff founded O-DE Consulting, providing design and consulting services, and assumed the CEO role. In 2022, he established O-DE Labs, a company supporting the overseas expansion of blockchain businesses in Japan, and became its representative director.
In 2023, Geoff established O-DE Capital Partners ('OCP'), a Hong Kong-based fund and company focused on financial-related businesses, and assumed the position of CEO. At OCP, he provides services as an advisor for the establishment of funds specialized in Web3 and for the business development of multiple VC funds.

Joe is a Design Partner at O-DE Capital Partners (OCP). With a unique combination of expertise in design and engineering, he specializes in supporting product localization, incubation, and growth strategies for startups, playing a critical role in driving innovation and success.
In 2015, Joe participated in the “Tobitate!” Study Abroad Initiative, a public-private program launched by Japan’s MEXT to foster globally minded talent. Through this program, he studied at Parsons School of Design in New York, where he developed a solid foundation in design principles.
In 2017, Joe joined a global advertising agency headquartered in Osaka, contributing to client projects as a graphic designer, web designer, and web developer. In 2019, Joe moved to Adish Co., Ltd., where he was heavily involved in new business development as an in-house designer. During this time, he played a key role in designing web applications, such as the AI-powered content moderation tool "matte" and the social listening platform "Pazu".
Simultaneously, Joe began offering comprehensive design support to startups, taking on design leadership roles for companies like AGRI SMILE Inc. and ZaPASS JAPAN Inc. This experience laid the groundwork for his deep understanding of startup needs and growth dynamics.
In 2020, Joe co-founded O-DE Inc. and assumed the role of Chief Design Officer. At O-DE Inc., he supported clients in fundraising pitch decks, product management, and implementing no-code development solutions, etc.
Currently, as a Design Partner at OCP, Joe continues to leverage his expertise to provide design-driven solutions for portfolio companies, focusing on product localization, incubation, and strategic growth initiatives. Joe’s broad skill set and commitment to innovation make him a key contributor to the success of ventures across diverse markets.

Mitsuo Yoshida is a Partner of O-DE Capital Partners ('OCP').
In 2013, he joined a major general contractor listed on the prime market of the Tokyo Stock Exchange, Penta-ocean Construction Co., ltd.
He was assigned to an office overseeing an annual construction business of 20 billion yen, serving in accounting. As the chief of the office, Mitsuo managed a team of 200 at Japan's southernmost construction site, a national project, and worked on a ship. He also supported Japan's westernmost construction project, a Ministry of Defense project.
In the Kyushu branch, he supervised the entire back-office operations, ranging from financial management to legal affairs, overseeing a maximum annual revenue of 45 billion yen as a principal.

One of Japan's early adopters in the cryptocurrency industry, entering the field in 2012. In 2013, he was active as an initial investor in numerous cryptocurrencies, including Ethereum, which is currently the second largest cryptocurrency by market capitalization, and Cardano, ranked eighth. He conducted educational activities on cryptocurrencies not only in Japan but also in various Asian countries such as China and Singapore, creating many cryptocurrency millionaires from the early days. In April 2017, following an amendment to the Fund Settlement Act, he founded Xtheta Co., Ltd. and received registration as a cryptocurrency exchange operator from the Financial Services Agency in December 2017.

In November 2022, he transferred the business to Binance, the world's largest exchange, and served as an executive officer and head of new business development.

In 2010, joined the Young Americans, a U.S.-based non-profit organization focused on music education. Over a span of three years, supported the enhancement of self-esteem and mutual understanding through expressive education in 18 countries and regions. Following graduation from an American university, embarked on a 9-month tour across 24 cities in Europe as a pyrotechnician.
Upon returning to Japan, joined the education-focused non-profit organization, Jibun Mirai Club, collaborating with a volunteer base of 3,000 individuals nationwide to implement music expressive education for 20,000 participants annually.
In 2020, joined WeWork as a Community Manager. Engaged in establishing a community for self-realization support through WeWork, impacting both business and personal realms. Contributed to diverse community formations such as business matchmaking and the establishment of the LGBTQ+ support group "Pride of WeWork."
Subsequently, joined N2M Inc., focusing on community creation centered around Web3.0, while supporting the market entry of overseas Web3 projects into Japan. Also, took charge of planning and operations for the global online conference Web3 Tokyo, attracting approximately 1,500 viewers online.

Adam is Co-Founder and General Partner at O-DE Capital Partners ('OCP'). Adam began his career by spending eight years practicing risk management at US Fortune 500 sector conglomerates, including Mattel, JetBlue Airways, and as Head of Risk Management at Activision Blizzard. He also led Programs & Underwriting for a $2B insurance company owned by Los Angeles billionaire Don Hankey, helping to turn the company around from an A.M. Best rating of B+ to A- during his tenure.

Adam moved to Japan in 2018 transitioning to a remote-first lifestyle, becoming a full-stack software developer. During that same time, he bootstrapped a Prada-backed fashion e-commerce marketplace that supplied over 100+ fashion brands at its peak ‘from Japan to the world.’ In 2020, he launched a nano-materials startup in Singapore venture backed by Entrepreneur First and SGInnovate, before delving into startup ecosystem growth in the Middle-East region in Morocco and Turkiye.

Since 2022, Adam has led marketing and business development for growth-stage projects in Web3 in decentralized identity and artificial intelligence while traversing and living in over 38+ countries, building a global crypto network across six continents. Stephanie Choi has been managing investment portfolios in blockchain ecosystems since 2019, following a successful career in banking. With expertise in venture capital and a passion for innovation, she drives strategic growth and supports emerging technologies.

Maxwell Imai Weiss is a Japan-based venture capitalist, most recently as a Partner at Pacific Bays Capital, and advisor at O-DE Capital Partners, a Web 2.5 fund. Prior to Pacific Bays Capital, he was a venture capitalist at one of Japan's largest independent venture capital funds with backing from the Japanese government, then with the VC arm of the Bank of Fukuoka, Japan's largest regional banking group.

Max has a background in computer science, and prior to his career in venture capital, founded one of the world's first app creation platforms in Los Angeles.

In 2019, Ishigami launched B-OWND, a platform for art and craft pieces. As a producer, he oversees services that enable direct transactions while maintaining the integrity of artworks by integrating blockchain technology to issue certificates of authenticity and track provenance.

Born in 1990 in Fukui Prefecture, Shuji Yamagami began his career managing infrastructure and developing systems for university core systems and the National Institutes of Natural Sciences. He later joined a web marketing company, where he played a key role in establishing the development department, building websites, and implementing and operating MA and CRM tools.

In 2021, he founded NUXIL Inc., embarking on his independent journey. Currently, he is engaged in a wide range of activities, including web development for major clients such as PayPay, Goldwin, and Universal Music, as well as consulting on business transformation leveraging IT solutions.

Ayano is a highly skilled bilingual translator with over 10 years of experience in translating corporate internal documents, investor relations materials, and marketing content. Her experience spans in various fields, including PR, marketing, events, import/distribution, business development, sales, and global communications. She has played a pivotal and multi-player role in the success of a tech start-up that was launched in Japan and expanded throughout Asia. She was in charge of global accounts and led the PR and marketing launch in Japan.
